I don’t understand why people are knocking this? Sure it’s a pink Floyd song and Gilmour (my hero) was lead guitar and the original, sublime vocals but ffs enjoy the the difference. Tell me Eddie has a bad voice and his vocals weren’t fitting and I’d say you have rocks in yer head. This song is about Waters who as a young lad lost his father in the war and not being able to remember the dreams he had about his father. Gilmore was his rock. that’s the second time someone has commented on my spelling. If that’s all you came here for I’d rather you just kept yer comments to yourself. His real name was Roger anyway!

there is plenty of room in my heart and enough sense in my head to love Gilmour, Waters, and Vedder alike. For someone to say that Pink Floyd could have been Pink Floyd without any of the band members is blasphemy to my ears! I was responding to some of the neighsay comments. It automatically tagged you because I commented on your post. I agree with your opinion. That obviously got lost in translation somewhere… Amazing show but of course his voice doesn’t sound the same back in the 70’s, but to be honest the last show of David Gilmour in Pompeii was incredible, he is a genius and a God with the guitar and his voice sounds pretty good. Both of them are amazing and without them together as a team Pink Floyd wouldn’t have been the same.
