Depending on the hearing loss the aids might not give access to speech, the bubs might just have gone from silence to hearing noises. Hearing aids cannot “fix” the loss, but they can give access to speech or even just sounds for awareness/safety. There was plenty of talking and laughing and in the delivery room itself it definitely was not quite due to the nurses having to rush around because I was hemorrhaging. My baby was fine and slept through everything. You don’t need to quiet yourself around a newborn at all

if you’re talking about me,  well I have experiences, so I guess I have knowledge enough for an opinion. And if you would read everything before writing your very wanted opinion to my comment, you would know that I have these experiences. I have plenty of experience with uneducated opinions though! I’m a philosophy and anthropology student. Some of my study has to do with opinions, arguments and logic. Hence why I chose to comment about just that they are professionals if they thought there was anything damaging in what they were doing they would have corrected them. Thats why they are Audiologist and Otoneurologists thats is THEIR specialty
