I’m guessing John Carpenter was never fully satisfied with the way the original H2 played out so he wants to sorta reboot the series completely for this current generation.. While still paying tribute to his first one.. We’ll have to see how this works but at least they’re trying different things evidently not giving up on the series.. It is just like like Wes Craven New Nightmare all the movies were fake and made Freddy real in it. Jack skellington biggie I suck at apologies so unfuck you or whatever shirt In this Halloween this one takes place after first one and the sequels never happened plus I think John didn’t make him immortal he is human in this one! they are treating this like part 2 and pretending like all the other sequels never happened.

Which is fine with me. Although I liked part 2 and H2O a lot, the rest were just ok. I saw someone ask why Jamie Lee Curtis is old. well, this is nearly 40 years later.. people age. And how can some people not know who she is at all?!? I feel like we have a lot of people who aren’t true Halloween fans here. I’m excited to see this! i am going to see it regardless lol but yea that whole Rob zombie Halloween remake everybody thinks is the new story. Like no no no that was one man’s version of an original.
