So sorry to hear this …there’s lots of us fighting metastasis breast cancer…me included…after double mastectomy and the full treatment,six months of chemo ,six weeks of radiation…for almost ten years I was in remission…then it returned in my pelvic bone,hip and femur,and spine…I’ve been in treatment now for five years…no cure ..but praying for one…I know each day is a gift,and I thank God for wonderful doctors and nurses… American flag breast cancer awareness shirt it’s not easy but if they can use me to be apart of the search for a cure …I’m ready to do whatever it takes…as long as it’s in my bones ,the pain so far as been tolerable…I’m praying for you Olivia..and all the rest of us that are battling this terrible disease.

You are correct Jamie Cottrell Thomas indeed NEAD is the correct term. i do not like this term because it has weight of impending doom for me. For others the term is a blessing. May all of us recover well and be healthy I too had it young, 35. Mom of three the youngest was one. Double Masectomy, Chemo, and eventually goodbye to ovaries. Did go to lymph nodes. It’s been 11 years, cancer free. You will get there!! Sending you healing vibes. who has stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Susan G. Komen should be ashamed of themselves for spending so little of “OUR” donated money to help find a cure to the very cancer that killed her sister Susan!!! I truly hate to say this, yet I will. Maybe now that there is a well know singer/public figure who has stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, maybe….just MAYBE, this very foundation will start spending some well deserved dollars on RESEARCH for stage 4 metastatic breast cancer!!
