the reality is that within our local municipalities, it is not legal to a live in a vehicle outside of a designated RV park b a vehicle may not be parked on a public boulevard/ street for more than 3 days in the same spot. However, even moving a spot ahead technically counts as it having moved. So, it looks like any other vehicle. This will hopefully not be a long term solution. My reason to do this is to be able to get ahead. Instead of putting a thousand per month into rent, it is now going into savings. I am 100 percent debt free because of this choice and have more in savings than i’ve Ever had. For many people who opt to downsize, it is as a means of getting ahead and allowing a much higher quality of life. For some, staying in a smaller space affords a higher level of ability to look after the more important Real wealth: which is Health, experience, better relationships, and less addiction to material Things.
