I had him for over a year when he came down with FIV but i don’t care. God gave him to me for a purpose and I love him so much. It took him a very long time before he would let anyone pet him, and after 8 years he still won’t let me pick him up. However, he is the cuddliest cat in the world when it’s time to go to sleep. Awe this is heartbreaking but also wonderful at the same time. So happy they all found second chances. If I could I would have taken each and everyone of them myself. When my boyfriend and i had to put down his 13 year old Beagle it broke my heart. He was like a mini version of him. Originally, my boyfriend couldn’t afford a private cremation and came to terms with a public one and when the day came I paid for a private one because I loved Harley almost as much as he did. Unfortunately they didn’t honor it and publicly cremated him.
