Oh doris where’s the salad shirt
The money, resources, professional training, the space needed for extra learning areas, does not exist. Anyone who has spent any time in front of a large classroom (when classrooms are large out of necessity due to population size) knows that this idealism is unreasonable. Why should a teacher in middle or high school, who has hundreds of students, Oh doris where’s the salad shirt be expected to pay individual attention to each one? Is the argument then to only do it for students in primary school?
When they get to middle school they won’t have that luxury anymore and their familiarity with being catered to will be upended. When they get to the work place will their boss care about them as an individual or will their boss see them as another worker, a cog in a machine that can be replaced if it doesn’t work well? Unless there is a sudden extreme funding in education and meteoric rise in the salaries of educators, this speech is nothing more than someone not appreciating the reality of the world
