for a moment, I did feel he took the attention from the other dancers, but did find it quite sweet how they all started watching him for their next moves! Lol My dad did some mother daughter things with me as a child due to my mother not being able to .he didnt do it for fame or attention he did it cuz he loved me and he didnt want me to be that little girl with nobody .to this day .. It still makes me tear up at what he did for me and if no one should have went up there you would say “the parents should have went up there and encouraged their kid” shut up Debbie downer

I don’t agree with ‘it teaches her nothing’…I think everyone has different perspective, you saw ‘support,’ and ‘teaching her nothing’ in the process, some saw him teaching his daughter to go out of her way to help, some saw compassion, some saw a father giving his child confidence to go out and face the world even when feeling low or down, some saw other things that can be described as negative..it’s all just perspective…it’s what she needed, and he being her father recognized what he knew or believed his child needed,
