Britney Spears is an ICON . It’s true , she never had the best voice and yes she lip synched most of her performances .. but that was the power of Britney Spears … she didn’t have to have the best voice because she had star power and stage presence . Other popstars that could sing way better than her never came close to her level , and that’s why people hate on her . And lets not forget , this was before social media was a huge thing . She achieved that level of success without social media . The popstars of today would be shaking in their boots if they had to compete with Britney in her prime. Taylor Swift would have been the equivalent of Jessica Simpson Why do people keep saying she is a terrible singer? Have you actually heard her sing live? Look it up. She actually has a great voice and I wish she would sing more live.
