How to take pictures with flowers so as not to be cheesy?
Nghia Do Thanh, born on May 3, 1991, currently lives in Dusseldorf, Germany. His parents moved to Germany to work in 1988, and he was born there. He likes to be creative and find ideas that are “unlike anyone else”. Examples of photography ideas with flowers in this post. His creative style was not always encouraged in the Asian family.
Before choosing a career as a fashion photographer and videographer, he had tried many other fields: playing classical guitar since he was 8 years old. He studied music, studied renewable energy, and then studied electrical engineering. No industry can keep him. Currently, not only taking fashion pictures, he also founded a modeling agency with his friend.
Real images, no artificial sharpening
Admit it, when you see a beautiful flower garden, you will want to swoop in and take pictures, right? Most people have pretty similar poses when taking pictures with flowers. In this set of photos, Nghia Do Thanh and stylist Tu Anh Nguyen, his wife, create different types of shots. They use metal, plastic, flowers, and beads, to make up the model’s face. Designs by famous brands such as Maison Margiela and Versace, combined with models of young faces, use sustainable materials.
Through this set of photos, he wants to say: “The world we live in today is the sum total of everything, from nature to high fashion, to metal and plastic. He doesn’t photoshop a model’s skin to create those perfect, smooth shots like the ones we see everywhere. The result is beauty/fashion photos that are full of high art, but very real and unshaven.
