Appearing in the reality TV series about the Asian super-rich society Bling Empire , Chérie Chan is a prominent girl with big round eyes, feminine fashion style, sweets and a love story with Jessey Lee.
Currently , Bling Empire season 2 has started filming, but Chérie and Jessey did not attend. They are busy taking wedding photos and preparing for the upcoming wedding. Chérie Chan shared with Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam about Nicole + Felicia’s love story and beautiful wedding dress at the wedding dress rehearsal in Los Angeles.
Jessey Lee proposed to Chérie at the Jacquemart-André museum, France. At that time, he arranged for this museum to close, not accepting other visitors, to prepare for his special marriage proposal.
Standing in front of a painting of a couple in Paris with the words “Will you marry me?”, Jessey proposed to Chérie. She burst into happiness.
Chérie couldn’t help but be moved when she recounted how surprised she was. She thought she and Jessey were just doing a private tour of the museum. But she doesn’t believe that Jessey arranged the closing of the entire Museum just to make this romantic proposal.
After the proposal, the two immediately prepared for the wedding. Chérie Chan and her future husband delivered all of their wedding gear to the Cheval Blanc hotel in France before the hotel opened and planned to take engagement photos across France.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life,” said Chérie. I wish my mom was here right now. I am so happy to share these happy photos with my dad and stepfather. They couldn’t be happier and everyone is eagerly counting down to this big day.”
The wedding rehearsal took place in Beverly Hills, California. Chérie Chan has specially curated wedding dresses from Taiwanese fashion brand Nicole + Felicia. This is her favorite fashion brand.
Due to the pandemic, the two brand designers were unable to travel to Los Angeles in person to meet the bride. But to make sure everything fits Chérie’s measurements, wedding dresses are shipped back and forth between Taiwan and Los Angeles.
“Nicole and the design team were keen to fly to LA, but due to strict Covid restrictions, we only communicated primarily through Zoom,” said Chérie. I have tried so many dresses and I don’t want to take them off because they are so beautiful and so comfortable. Nicole is a super talented designer and she made my dream come true.”
Nicole + Felicia brand is a wedding dress design brand from Taiwan, founded by designer sisters Nicole and Felicia. With an open mind, Nicole + Felicia designs wedding dresses for young, confident and strong women. The girls are a reflection of Nicole and Felicia’s designs. The designer duo said they wanted to create timeless designs.
Talking about Nicole + Felicia, Chérie said she has been following this brand for a while. She loves the brand’s asymmetrical and incredibly elegant tulle dresses. “My love for tulle was when I was very young. I always remember the first tutu dress my mother bought me when I was in kindergarten. At that moment, I fell in love with the material.” Light weight bridesmaid dresses are very important to her. Because Cherie doesn’t like to wear anything too heavy.
The wedding dress designs that Chérie Chan tried on were all evocative of lightness, femininity and vitality. The female millionaire especially thanked Nicole + Felicia for contributing to the fulfillment of the most important day of her life.
