Odell Beckham Jr. Inks Deal with Miami Dolphins, Eyes Return to Form

Odell Beckham Jr. is coming to South Beach with his star power! The Miami Dolphins will offer the explosive wide receiver a one-year contract worth up to $8.25 million. He has played for five NFL teams—the Browns, Rams, and Ravens among his previous stops.

In Miami, the 31-year-old Beckham wants to relive the magic of his early career. He’ll line up as the third wide receiver for the Dolphins, joining Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle to make a formidable trio. The Dolphins recently picked two wideouts, so this move may cause some controversy, but head coach Mike McDaniel obviously appreciates offensive firepower.

Beckham was always a reliable Pro Bowl player for the New York Giants, but things have changed recently. His supremacy was not rekindled after a trade to the Cleveland Browns in 2019; a midseason switch to the Rams in 2021 resulted in a Super Bowl triumph, but it also caused an ACL tear. He rejoined the Ravens in 2023 after missing the whole 2022 campaign, exhibiting some inconsistency along with glimmers of his previous greatness.
