when we were kids and this one is for the kids of this generation to cry over mufasas death and shout hakuna matata in the playgrounds .. rolling with the times It’s a valid criticism. Honestly from the trailer I didn’t see anything that wasn’t just as good in the animated version, if not better. Beauty and the Beast was a good remake because they changed it a little, small details that added up to an interesting slantways remake that wasn’t JUST an HD CGI copycat. People need to stop acting like CG is inherently better than traditional animation, or that realism is better than a cartoon style. and the cartoon doesn’t? LOL this is just regenerated to make it like what the kids today watch. That is who it is for afterall… the next generation of Disney movie goers it’s being remade because the original is popular and there’s still money to be squeezed, I honestly cannot wait for Disney to drop this hyper real animation phase and go back to solid memorable character designs and original narratives. I’m with you. I’ll stick with the animated version. I have a hard time with animals that are more life-like singing “In the jungle,the mighty jungle…”. who said this is a line for line plot copycat movie?
