She was asking for trouble but the mother of the young child has anger issues The lady who sat was wrong but the assault by the mom was unnecessary. And was very frightening for her child. taken it is only bc there is no seating available. In that case I will ask the person already seated if he or she would.like company. It is, I would think the right and normal thing to do.
