Unforgivness is the poison we drink expecting the other person to die.I’m almost at the other end of 8 year relationship that’s seen almost unbelievable stuff towards me. Lying, cheating in the worse possible way. This toxic relationship put so mm much pressure on my kids from a previous relationship to the point the stopped wanting to spend time here. Sadly my 15 yr son took his life Jan 2019. I’m not saying this was the reason, well no one knows the real reason yet this certainly didn’t help. There’s so many reasons I could find and be rightly justified not to forgive, yet I have without any bitterness. Regan, you are absolutely right when you forgive the person they no longer have that power over you. sorry to hear about your son but I’m glad you took your power back now.
