As the 2022/23 season is taking place in full swing, leading French fashion house Dior has launched a new collection exclusively for the Paris Saint-Germain team. It is known that Paris Saint-Germain players will wear Dior Men designs ahead of the Champions League tournament on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. The collection is solemn and elegant, highlighting the inherent charm of the players.
As a costume designer, art director Kim Jones created the first collection exclusively for the club. “Dior is honored to be the official tailor for the Paris Saint-Germain team, offering sophisticated, comfortable styles. The collection was designed by Kim Jones himself to meet the requirements of the players,” the Dior brand shared on Instagram.
The designs are elegant, and sophisticated, mainly using black and white tones. As a result, the outfit retains the elegance and class of the leading fashion house, while showing the sports spirit of young players.
Dynamic black Harrington jacket, knitted sweater, and youthful polo shirt, all embellished with Dior’s “CD” logo and the words “Paris Saint-Germain”.
In addition, the fashion house also launched an elegant black vest design combined with a white shirt, highlighting the masculine beauty of the players.
Translating signature motifs from the runway to the pitch, Dior Oblique appears in black leather Derby shoes. The white Dior Lingot bag with a classic diamond pattern completes this collection.
In addition, the fashion house also specially designed scarves, silk ties, and black or navy belts, contributing to adorn each outfit.
In particular, in the introduction of this collection, Dior personally invited famous fashion photographer Till Janz. Photos taken directly on the football field make the campaign even more vivid and realistic.
