Launched on March 30, the UNIQLO x JW ANDERSON Spring Summer 2023 collection continues to recreate the distinctive British style through a playful and elegant perspective.

Creative Director Jonathan Anderson said: “The inspiration for this spring/summer evoked in us new innovative ideas for traditional sportswear.”

The goal of this collection with the theme “A Sporting Way of Life” is to refresh the classic sportswear line. A prime example is the design of a women’s baseball cardigan with lines inspired by extracurricular sports uniforms in light, cool cotton-blend linen; or AirSense jackets (formerly known as Kando) for both men and women were introduced for the first time in a UNIQLO x JW ANDERSON collection. The designs reminiscent of Britain’s iconic schoolwear line in this collection use innovative materials that are lightweight, stretchy, quick-drying and finished with the original JW ANDERSON logo.

Several designs from the collection offer a sophisticated combination of fashion and sportswear. Pleated mini skirts inspired by tennis; leggings with soft, quick-drying AIRism; short sleeveless bra; or a color block parka with lightweight nylon material and a fancy color scheme by JW ANDERSON.

Mugler is known as a brand that welcomes all standards of beauty and personality, now, with the collaboration with H&M, that spirit will be extended and touched even more audiences.

The collection, created by current Mugler Creative Director, Casey Cadwallader, includes men’s and women’s designs and accessories.

The idea and discussions of a partnership between H&M and Mugler began before the death of Manfred Thierry Mugler in January 2022. Therefore, the collection is a combination of the history, present, and future of the fashion house, introducing many classic and distinctive designs from Mugler. The collection is a vivid showcase of today’s Mugler world, and the fascinating ways Cadwallader has used to make the brand fresh and relevant for today’s new generation.

The collection features Mugler’s recognizable design; with strong broad shoulders, the emphasis is on the waistline, highlighting the contours of the body, as if it is a tribute to confidence. Furthermore, alongside contemporary designs, the collection also presents limited editions remade of special archive designs selected by Cadwallader for their contemporary resonance and testament to the role they play. center of the Mugler during the glory years of the 80s and 90s.
