although foreign is playing a key role in development because it helps us to communicate across cultures and tribes and also helps us to communicated very well with the outside world. If you look at it careful although we speak English or French as a local language we still speak at a local language when we not conducting official duties the point is not about totally supplanting foreign languages for local language. The point is about still recognising the importance and uniqueness of our local language and not doing away with it. Many African families have even ban their kids from speaking local languages. And many Africans are trying so hard to fake foreign language accent just to feel superior or be acceptable.
