While skateboarding represents a typical youth street culture, the transmission of Marc Jacobs’ Smiley Yellow Monogram in the skate park not only served as the key to the event’s setting but also demonstrate an intuitive sense and breakthrough attitude. To enable this setup, Marc Jacobs invites Beijing skaters to perform at the park and connect with residents on event days.

On the occasion of the launch of Marc Jacobs’s skateboarding field, Mike Angelo, a famous Thai actor, and singer, was invited to Block Party at Skatepark to demonstrate his street fashion style and rebellious attitude in a Monogram costume. ready-to-wear and the brand’s latest Monogram denim canvas bag launched in 2023. Quynh Anh Shyn and Nam Phung are also two representatives from Vietnam participating in this event.

In addition to the skateboarding elements, Block Party also features other activities such as graffiti, DJ performances, and dining, all geared towards the overall street-style vibe. On top of that, the fashion house collaborated with the famous coffee and pastry brand BUTTERFUL&CREAMOROUS for the first time at the skate park, featuring the brand’s signature green Monogram. The exclusive pop-up booth will feature a limited edition Marc Jacobs Monogram collection for the duration of the event.
