Call it the NFL’s first Comeback Sunday in a long time. While the Jets came back from a 13-point disadvantage in the final two minutes, the Dolphins and Cardinals created history by overturning 20-point deficits at the half to win on the same day.
NFL’s first Comeback Sunday since years occurs in Week 2
Two further teams nearly joined the group.
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Atlanta Falcons 31-27 after Jalen Ramsey intercepted Marcus Mariota’s throw intended for Bryan Edwards in the end zone. The Falcons had rallied from a third-quarter deficit of 28-3 (which is a typical score in Atlanta).
