that was his take on it. I enjoyed Ledger’s serious, dark take on the character. Before this Heath Ledger was a pretty boy actor that people thought was a completely daft decision to place in the role of the joker – he proved everyone wrong. Joaquin Phoenix is another one of those “sleeper” actors whose amazing role is her to come, he will do his own take on Joker of course but I’m sure it will be amazing Let’s not let alex b represent all of the Alex’s. Wu tang joker bart simpson put on a happy face shirt Heath costume and his acting gave true to the joker I always saw from the cartoon to the Tim burton adaptation. Mr. Phoenix definitely has a tough act to follow. There needs to be a standard after Leto honestly. Leto showed us exactly what could easily go wrong.
I mean seriously, not even that Leto is a bad actor, just terrible Joker. After Leto I think anything will seem better sadly. I’m not saying we can’t compare multiple versions and takes on the character, however it’s not fair to immediately just go “Ledger was the best, Phoenix is bad” when we haven’t even had a chance to see his take on it. Ledger was a phenomenal Joker, and I wholeheartedly agree that Leto’s was awful. That being said, I’m not going to say that every Joker needs to be Ledger’s Joker,
