Black Dogs and cats get put to sleep First!!! They will put down a black puppy in order to save a 6 yr old yellow lab!same with cats !! I adopted my first solid black dog after I researchedir. And of course got a blonde one too! So we saved 2 lives and they r sisters. Best thing we ever did was rescue both these girls, the entire litter of 10 died 1 at a time from starvation, these 2 were the only survivors, so we saved both! But I think they really saved US, Vintage grand paw dog shirt we r empty nesters and now we have babies again Adopted an all black cat. He is the gentlest and loving kitty I’ve ever had. Had an all black Rottweiler, too. When I broke leg bones and in wheelchair he would sit next to me to hold on to his collar and pull around the house!
We adopted Sadie Ann from the rescue shelter she is the Jack Russel then when we heard that Molly was going to be killed by her owner if she wasn’t gotten rid of we hurried out to rescue her. Sadie Ann is still not to sure she likes having a sister but as my husband says she has no option but to deal with it cause Molly is here to stay. That is is so strange to me that they say black dogs don’t get adopted. I understand that there is research to back it, but black dogs are so pretty! My boyfriend’s sister found a stray black lab mix and took her in and soon realized she was prego. She had puppies and all of the black puppies got adopted, including our handsome boy! My friend has also recently adopted a black lab/beagle mix and a black lab/golden retriever mix, both nearly solid black!
