Not a fan of the lackluster Hulk. He’s been that way since Thor Ragnarok. He should of been the one slugging out with Thanos, not Capt Marvel. the Hulk was incredibly watered down. Even if Thanos kicked his butt again, the rematch should of been there. The Hulk was nothing more than a sidekick. Hard to believe he became such a wuss since the 1st Avengers Film. In Endgame, Steve and Tony traveled back to 1970. She looked the same some 28 years later! Is there no one else who thought about this? So, Peter and his friends all came back at the same time during Endgame having to finish school, all while their other classmates had to move on through those five years and graduate. More importantly he was necessary in this form in order to wield the gauntlet. But yeah, Hulk in the first Avenger movie remains the best version. It’s not about the comics. These are movies. It’s a matter of whether it works on screen or not and Hulk in my opinion didn’t work as a merged character. Just my opinion.
