to be Canadian Americans act like there the only free country…. we’re free up here in too! We just don’t need to walk around and tell everybody. vintage black cat i bake so i don’t punch people poster It’s real simple if u go out to a place were there’s lots of people wear a mask. I am a Canadian person deemed high risk to contact the virus. I have been self quarantining for 3 months at full pay. We have a very low number of new cases each day, rarely any deaths and less than 20 people hospitalized. The biggest difference is not only our leadership but also ordinary Canadians. While we have our political differences and ideologies we are not nearly divided as Americans. We as a country are proud of our health care system and understand that we are doing things for the greater good.
Because Canada has Justin Trudeau and we have the orange monster. I do not feel the Federal Government in Canada crushed anything. First and foremost I credit our “success” against COVID to each Canadian accepting their social responsibility and are doing what’s best for their neighbors; staying home, wearing masks, etc. Next I credit the government at the city and provincial levels for making the hard desion, listening to their medical officials and being prepared to accept the backlash on unpopular decisions. The Federal Government was slow in response, was not prepared given past lessons with other pandemics and does not seem to have or is not willing to share a plan for moving forward for something that is not going away anytime soon. Extremely proud of my fellow Canadians!! Proud to be Canadian..
