I really do get why people would be more conservative, I just feel like a large %, not all, of them are just really clinging on to outdated policies that are holding back progress. Both sides do need to try and bridge this gap we have right now though. Every day, month, year, it’s getting wider and wider. I have always considered myself an independent voter. By evaluating the issues, I vote my values. Once I start voting for the other party more times than not, I switch parties.
