So true, pessimism is corrosive. I can come in with the excitement of a child, having discovered something wondrous to me, and my partner can kill it with negativity in nothing flat. Why do people have to extinguish the joy in others? Mallernee and Jennifer Robinson, others that cannot stand to see someone else’s joy and happiness are bitter and unhappy in their own lives!!! The number one prayer of an autism parent a friend for our child shirt Give yourselves a gift and don’t allow them to do that to you if you are to remain together! Like Linda Wesson Braden stated, “That is not love”!!! We only get one life, enjoy that gift!!! Love, joy and happiness to everyone!!! I have done that with all 3 of my children.
Take your time and get your new items
their friends if they come over & eat they eat with us at the table & I ask what if any was a bad part if any & good part of your day & it has to be respectful age appropriate to the surrounding audiences &their are some rules to this & they cant say sleep or school home etc.. & I go around each kids or adult & they talk about it & if they have an issue we figure out how we can change that if it needs to & if good we celebrate it a bit… I have had all my kids friends do it to & even ask when we are sitting if we havent gotten to it yet & to the point where my daughters friends from across the st.. would come over with their dinner and ask if they can be apart of that.
