However, you have successfully taken a very targeted post to bring attention to a very specific issue and turned it into an “but everyone deals with this” statement. Sure, healthcare sucks in general. But I would implore you to do your research before making it a blanket problem, as well as belittling the point of this post. I did not know they released a new report. South africa a place your heart will always be poster I’ve been working off of older information. I’m a hospital chaplain and this helps me advocate for POC especially in this area.
I don’t care what anyone says, white privilege even extends to the white poor and homeless. I agree!! I am always spreading awareness and people are always shocked that it could possibly be true. The reality is, the medical community, while quickly advancing technologically, has remained in the stone ages when it comes to the rights and treatment of all women, but black women especially….because it was not that long ago that black women were not considered people and most (white) people are too stupid(or blind) to see that it has not changed as much as advertised.
