It’s not her fault or her blame for the awful things he’s done to her. But, it’s HER RESPONSIBILITY to heal. For herself. This way he still has control over her life. She took his role. Calling herself a ‘bitch’ and using and hurting other people is telling me she’s doing a great job at being him. Snoopy life is like an ice cream cone you have to learn to lick it shirt Even tho she escaped from him she still allowes him to run her life. He and the pain he caused her are in charge. I wish she can realize that she deserves to be loved. She does not look or sound like someone who is happy with her choices. There’s not a person in the world that can make her feel loved if she doesn’t love herself first.
i think it’s interesting that so many people read the line “give yourself the gift on loving again” to imply that’s she stating this woman needs a partner to be fulfilled. That’s not how I interpret that line at all. We can interpret sayings so differently sometimes. Yeah, that’s the tought thing. It’s like the people who hurt us still have a rope around us sometimes even when we’ve left that situation. And it’s not easy to rewrite those stories and to tell ourselves that the world can be experienced differently. You are only a survivor if you soften your heart and learn to love again, until then you are still his victim. Learn to love again and have the good life you deserve, there are many wonderful people in the world.
