If the father had driven her, she would have learnt that she could get away with anything because her parents would always be there to clean up the mess. On the other hand, by doing this, she learns that she is responsible for her actions. And he is still there to make sure she is safe. Well done good parenting I have two kids and if they acted that way they would have gotten the same treatment. These kids now feel a sense of entitlement what they need are discipline. I got plenty of discipline growing up and before my parents passed away I thanked them for teaching me about civility and respect and of be held accountable for my actions.

Well yes bullying and hurting others arent acceptable , but what would do .. my thought.. why you dont teach those teacher too? So that maybe they will talk about bullying much more and you see at my school , we do trainings for this, we have psychologists there, also special trained teachers … I know different schools but I just wanted to tell you this I just hope when she thinks of bullying someone again she doesn’t just think of the 5 mile walk but thinks of how wrong it is!! that I guarantee you these kids will never forget. My daughter is 50 now and she just reminded me of the time when my five kids wanted to go to McDonalds after doing errands. I told them if they were well behaved while I was busy we would go.
