I highly disagree with you Becky Reuter!  What do u call proper cleaning?! Do u keep up with washing blankets? Towels? What about cleaning your shower, toilet, ohhh and do you have a yard?? I have a double lot yard. Takes me 2 hours to cut grass.. plus I have 3 kids. Do u give any meds to your children for any health issues? Or have dr or dentist appt? How do u take all 5 kids grocery shopping? I do! Not easy at all! My husband works full time and on weekends to provide for us. I make.sure my house and kids are clean and 100% at their best and my own. Never underestimate an old man who was born in july shirt See if I slacked in some things then it would be easy, but then my house wouldn’t be “clean”. You must have super powers…like superficial super POWERS! Everybody is different there are no definitives from my perspective stay at mom don’t have anything easy. The get no sick days, no days off. The get stuck cleaning up after everyone. yeah if everyone pitched in they would have it easy but being stay at home mom is so much more than that.

I agree it’s not hard if you’re organized and have a fairly set routine and you’re kids are old enough to understand rules and take care of themselves a bit more. I admit it’s a bit harder now since I’m taking care of my baby girl while doing homeschooling with my older son ..and though some days I don’t get a shower.. the work gets done. Easy? Not always but not always hard either. You just got to take every day as it comes. I will say this, it was Much easier for me when my husband was able to come home from work (he’s military and overseas right now) because he sees our household as OURS meaning that he had just as much responsibility to take care of it as I do and if by chance I get a little behind in some chore or another, he was always there ready and willing to help.
