So glad this didn’t come out now. Although Chevy was a racist/sexist jerk on SNL (yep, got kicked off for yelling at people to their face/slurrs, even on his more recent TV show. No news cared, no drama). Never would had made it now My dad and me would watch this at Christmas,we both loved it.He has passed on now,but I still watch it every year just as if he is still here with me.My favorite movie. It’s no different than language they hear from the adults around them (you know the crap you think they don’t hear) in the entire movie, I wouldn’t really sweat it. Used to play it every year when I was managing an electronics department, never had a single customer complaint.

I can understand where you are coming from for not wanting your kids to not hear bad words. But unless your kids are under the age of 5, which im assuming they are not, they more then likely have heard them all before and probably know a few that you dont. Watch it on cable tv if possible and that should solve 90% of the problem. In CHRISTMAS VACATION they don’t say to many curse words, when he gets JELLY OF THE MONTH CLUB Christmas bonus is about it. There’s no Nudity in it except Clark’s imaginary pool scene and that gets cut when her panties hit the window. EDDIE drinking a beer on the diving board with his T-shirt hanging out of the bottom of his speedos might be a sight you don’t want your kids to see.
