So mind you, if there was an article that says African Americans were attacked solely because a disease spread globally, should you also think this is a viable comment to be taken as a “teaching moment”? What if those who were attacked were an avid fighter against racism and social inequalities?
They probably are more than aware of the racial injustices in this country. As I have said in latter comments, racism is not right in any angle, and I believe that a simple response to such incidents is just a genuine empathy without “but…”. Sure but not relevant to this post? I hate to tell you that since I have never lived in China, I am not educated enough in that area. From articles I encountered, I think whatever the Chinese government is doing is totally wrong? As I continously and constantly said that racism is wrong in any aspect, no country should mistreat visitors or immigrants who legally and appropreiately stay within a country. What about you?
