6-3 win over the Sharks yesterday… this Wednesday will be crazy if Saint Louis wins this Monday they’ll have a 3-2 lead against the sharks and if they win Wednesday the sharks will be eliminated meaning my team will advance to the Stanley cup Finals. But if they loose to the sharks this Monday then there could be a possibility my team may get eliminated Wednesday. So All i can do is pray I didn’t think they tried to blow it. But SJ couldn’t do much until the game was well in hand. And one goal was an accident by our own D-man trying to get puck under the pads of Allen.
The Blues simply need to match the other team’s desperation and they will be fine. The problem is, they are human. In an atmosphere like the Stanley Cup playoffs, the pressure can be overwhelming. I can’t even imagine the internal suffering each player is going through right now. At this point, desire and drive can only take you so far. Health is critical. I know that it is cliche, but the Blues must just play their game. We can only hope that the efforts will be fruitful. But that is why the Stanley Cup is the most difficult championship in sports to win. At the same time, if the Blues do win it, it will be the proudest accomplishment of that fair city’s sports teams ever.
