My son actually punoshed his daughter for telling hom she was being abused. Ive had custody of the kids since February 2011-he has never shown any interest in seeing the kids until recently, when his paycheck was garnished for child suppot (a whole $50 a month!). I want absolutely nothing to do with him and i truly believe he is a selfish ass and is just evil. My other son is an alcoholic, so he’s slowly killing himself. Both kids were close to their biological father, who became, and still is a drug addict (crackhead). Each child chose the paths their lives have taken, and i do not want to be drawn into their drama. Theres constant drama with no stability in their lives I am 58, the children are 39 (the alcoholic) and 37. I do not see any future relationship with either of them. I am at peace with this- if either one wanted to stop destroying their lives by drugs and alcohol, they could have done it by now. They continue to make poor choices and i certainly am not going to chase after two men who obviouly never want me in their lives-that is, unless they need something.
