You havent changed you have just woken up.. in relationships we dont see the faults or annoying habits of out partners to begin with as the initial rush of infatuation hides them and all we see are the ppsitives.. but as we move into a more mature relationship where we are loving but not infatuated these things do start to bother us.. now the thing is why does he feel it is acceptable to tell you what to think or do and who to talk to etc.. that sounds more like control than love.. giving advise when asked is great but telling you what to think and do when not asked isnt.. Let’s be honest I was crazy before the flamingos shirt say thanks for the advise but I can and will make my own decisions and I expect that you will respect that.. if he truly cares for you he will.. if not.. say goodbye.. his excuse that he has always been like that is just that an excuse.. if he truly cares he will try to not do it.. now at times he still will if it is so big a part of him.. be patient as you are asking him to be with you.. but if he doesnt try.. walk away
Get this cool design and hang out
This is a good motivator to begin a day with. First tip is to be aware of the triggers of the habit we want to change. Second is to change environment. Third is to find a positive alternative to the feeling that we have. Thank you Jay for telling us this. And all the best to those who want to change the bad habits. My bad habit was smoking and I quit 16 years ago. How did I do it? I’m not gonna lie it was the hardest thing in my life that I’ve ever done. It takes great will power and the motivation that you don’t want to do it anymore. Start conditioning yourself. I started from a pack a day down to eliminating one cigarette a day.
On the first day take one out and throw it away. On the second take 2 and throw them out, and so on and so on. You’ll be impressed with your self when you’re down to one a day. Now it’s time to quit. You’ve slowly weaned yourself off a little at a time to the point that you feel You’re ready to quit. Here’s the secret, don’t tell anyone till your at least past a month. The biggest thing is to treat yourself after every year of being smoke free. Trust me this works because God knows I’ve tried everything but this was the most successful method that I’ve ever tried! Good luck and never give up!
