Heath Ledger was amazing. Jack Nicholson was amazing as well. There have been many Jokers, but none to show the man as he was before a breaking point. Yes Nicholson had a small origin story in Burton’s movie which shows that Batman created him, but none have shown an origin story of this….A societal creation of a madman. Joaquin Phoenix will show how this can be done, and in an entertaining way. Same people who are saying heath ledger and jack nicholson will always be the best jokers. Are the same people who are still going to watch the movie like shut up. Its Todd Phillips directing which could be promising and Joaquin Phoenix is a damn good actor so one can only hope its good. Odds are it will be much better than 95% of the other crap DC has put out. This looks amazing! A dark origin story for the joker; however, I’m hesitant because one upside to the Joker is that no backstory was ever given, he was just chaos in human form. Still, I love Joaquin Phoenix, he’s truly one of the most underated acting geniuses of our time. I can’t wait to see him shine. a dark origin story? A wuss clown who throws a temper tantrum because he was bullied?

More like a pussified the character. The Joke comes in many forms as we have witnessed in the comics. I believe that each of the jokers portrayed in the movies all represent each one of the Jokers personality traits. I actually enjoy them all. I can’t wait for Joaquin’s joker.  precisely people always trying to put each actor who played the Joker superior than the other, jack, Leto, Heath all oscars winners actors Phoenix hasn’t won yet but he’s been numerously nominated too, Hamill is an amazing actor as well they’ll have done and outstanding job as the Joker in their own aesthetic way.
