I stayed on top of everything and it seriously was a walk in the park compared to my life now. I work a 40 hr a week night shift job as a Peds nurse,come home and homeschool Joker fuck you love you shirt my 2 oldest kids handle my 2 year old. I rarely get help from my husband. Mostly because he owns his own company and works long hrs.

Im a stay at home wife and its not that hard at all. Most rewarding job of my life. As long as you stay on top of shit it doesnt get crazy overwhelming. And i care full time for my seizure ridden husband full time. Lifes pretty good. I run a tight ship but few of my friends who are my age dont eat as healthy as we do or have as nice of a home as ours! My mom was also a stay at home mom and she worked over 40 hours a week from her laptop. We were weathly though with both my parents paychecks. She took care of her dying mom and visited her dad in the nursing home without fail, Joker fuck you love you shirt homeschooled us, all of us kids had jobs and went to college/trade school, helped run our dance school and literally never had any trouble with any of us because she was always there and present in our lives. Just saying and now that the nest is pretty much empty she runs her own successful business and at 57 shes getting mistaken for my sister. Doing all that didnt even age her lol.

Thats my idol and who i model my life after Was a SAHM for the first year of my sons birth, then i worked opposing schedules of my hubs. He works labor jobs and i work ina call center. He has night shift with our child and i have day. We are both exhausted and we share the responsibility of our child together. I keep clean house and get dinner made then he puts the baby to bed and i leave for work I have been both a sahm and a working mum and both have their plus and negative points but do you know what makes both roles harder? The constant judgement from society on what we as women chose to do and sadly as this post and thread shows that women judge each other so badly and snidely without ever knowing each other’s story or situation. It’s just quite sad really. glad to see so many people agree with you. I was a stay at home mom with two kids.
