Again it just goes to show everyone loves a certain version for how they portrayed the character. Which is why we need to give Phoenix a chance and not just throw him aside. if you read what Leto’s Joker was based off of you would be singing a different tune. His portrayal was spot on. It’s the content that it was based off of is horrible. People can play a bad character Joker don’t forget to smile shirt well you know. it’s much easier to just voice act than it to act all around as a character. Jack, Mark, whoever else has/will player the joker never act out as good of a joker in live action.

You can argue all you want but the fact remains that the most compelling live action performance is Heaths. You can barely even tell who’s acting. Opposed to the other 2 previously mentioned where you can clearly tell. Sorry but Hamill would never live up to the hype as a live action joker. I love Star Wars but that’s the main reason he gets so much praise. Don’t get me wrong he’s a tremendous voice actor as the joker, but that’s all he is as the joker. Until another actor actually out performs ledger
