and even SGTs struggle financially already and some of them are in Barracks where they dont pay for living arrangements. Also they have a steady schedule for work. Some of my Joes drives trucks, are Linemen, own businesses, and run construction companies along with farms. Also can find days to run/ruck for cardio. what you say is true but at the end of the day no way you can argue that a lot of the soldiers and paratroopers who struggle finically are the same ones buying 4 2$ monsters and a pack of cigs each day
I don’t think this is “good” for active duty or reservist. One thing both active and guard do not have is “time”. Taking a PT test in the guard was already a fiasco, this just makes it that much more of one…. add all the safety measures and it is a full blown goat screw. To measure endurance what they had was fine. All this is is “new leadership “ posturing….. change head gear, change uniforms, change dress uniforms….. blah blah blah…. In the end the soldier pays so some general can slap himself on the back and in the end he did nothing. You wanna make a change?
