My mother never disciplined us like a normal parent would. Instead, she would make us sit downstairs in the den. She would put IT in the VCR and let it play. To make things worse. Then this clown (mom) would run out of the laundry room with the vacuum on screaming, ” I’m going to suck you up to my world!!” This movie with my mother included really messed me up as a child. Setting the film in the ’80s is brilliant.
