I didn’t have a dad for most of my life but I have a partner who is a wonderful dad to our son and we both tuck him in every night. Honestly that for me makes up for what I missed – seeing how amazing he is with our son I have been blessed to have a father like this gentleman here. This post is coming right on time for Fathers Day. Every child needs this kind of special bond with their parents. It gives them the confidence to take on the world and be successful adults. Bless you child and your daddy. just yesterday at my lowest moment i decided to do shopping with my daughter. the sight of her running and fetching everything she saw and bringing it to me helped calm my troubled mind.

so beautiful I used to hate being away from my dad at night and during sleep overs, I’d sneak out after everyone fell asleep and call my dad. He always picked up on the first ring and say, “How was your night?” I’d tell him about my night and he’d tell me about his. Then he’d sing me a lullaby before hanging up. It helped me a ton and are some of my favorite memories. I’m so thankful that other dad’s are out there creating similar memories!!
