I have Oppositional Defiance disorder, ADHD, and Anxiety. I had a very difficult time in school. If drunk and lost please return to my bitches shirt I always had good grades, but it really got old having teachers telling me to stop moving or send me out to the hall bc I was fidgety.

This is why I homeschool the school system is more like a prison than a learning environment. They claim to have teachers for children with exceptional needs but they are just as lost as the rest of them Kids can only pay attention for approx 15 mins…then they should take at least a 30 second movement break.. If drunk and lost please return to my bitches shirt cramming more and more academic content down their throats isn’t going to be beneficial; we know all this and they still don’t do it… i literally recommend sensory breaks at almost every meeting and get met with “i don’t have time for that”… it sucks…
I strongly recommend vocational programs when they get into 11 and 12th grade My friend works at a school that teaches in all different ways and the results are from what I hear great. These children are smart they just just need to be taught in a individual way and not picked at or put down. As long as they are trying that’s what matters. Sweet little loves, I always will have a place in my heart for children like this This is exactly why teaching is not easy. It is not spouting facts while attentive children soak up your knowledge. Running an inclusive classroom is very difficult not because one child need accommodations but because often many do.
