Maybe the message is mainly about not losing hope, or trusting the journey you’re in. Of course, this is not for the lazy peepz because we should be “in the journey” to realize this principle. But I understand your view. It can be really misinterpreted but if we all worry about everyone misinterpreting messages, I workout just kidding I chase cows shirt then is it worth saying anything at all? I believe the right message will always be received by the right people. Dangerous, but worth the risk, I think.

Yes, took the words out of my mouth. All those he mentioned who achieved didn’t sit around and wait for things to happen but worked on it to happen. The delivered message means well, but knowing kids and their perspectives at that age, it’s not ok to just wait. A lot of kids don’t know what they want to do, they try different universities I workout just kidding I chase cows shirt or jobs and end up not doing what they want to do because they can’t decide. Coasting is not ok, you should always fight with a goal in mind.
I think that schools should be more focused on helping students reach their potential, rather than that of the masses. Figure out what they want to do and help them establish their dreams— may it be a career-drive or family oriented express, doesn’t matter. The message in the video seems a little too focused on the “never too old” thing, which actually sells better to older people than to young’uns still in their early years of development. It was a pretty good speech generally, but it does seem somewhat risky and dangerous. By having these ridiculous deadlines and milestones, although horrendous at times, at least it does force kids to not coast and decide early on. Without it there would be no pressure to decide — enabling coasting to a lot.
