Needed this more than you know! A family friend has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and its just isn’t fair is it. For some reason I get riddled with anxiety about all that. A lot of people we know die from it. The devil knows how to target my worries. I have had trouble sleeping lately. So this post hits the target right in the head. Thank you for this. Don’t forget this gem for those of us whose brains run way ahead in the worry department!!! 2 I asked god for a partner in crime he sent me my smartass daughter shirt Corinthians 10:5 “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” Stop the worry (the enemy) dead in its tracks, and replace enemy-think for the Sword of the Spirit, His think!!!!
I am absolutely crippled by anxiety and fear over the future and always think “what if”, “what if”. I need confidence that comes from having my feet planted firmly on the Rock of my Salvation, Jesus Christ. I know God holds my future and gives me hope I need to see this every day. I’m trying very hard to turn my thinking to a calmer place. I’ve been very disappointed and frustrated lately over health issues. I am experiencing fear. Having a hard time getting past some of this. I’ll be reading this again tomorrow! I’m so glad I follow this page. It seems to always be just what I need to hear. It’s so easy to be fearful during these times of unrest but God is still in control!
