Homicide Hunter is one of my favorite shows! Wish I could have played a small part in an episode! Maybe a gunshot victim or a distraught bystander or a decaying body! He had to quit sometimes beacause weve seen all his cases he has solved and put people away once he reteried that ended. So glad he has cought so many criminals and seen to it no one else gets hurt or killed. Great show, love the interspersing of old footage and real detectives that worked the cases. My late husband was in Texas law enforcement for over 35 years and Kenda was the only law enforcement show he would ever watch. I have watched the reruns over and over because he liked Kenda so much. Now I have a sense of a second loss but I understand the need for retirement. Enjoy yours, Joe. Will miss you. Now that Joe Kenda is retiring from his show, I’d love to see him do a cameo on a police procedural Like Law & Order: SVU or Blue Bloods.
