When I first heard of this memorial design, I was not pleased. Then I saw it from a distance and was not too impressed. Once I approached it I was overwhelmed. It is exactly the right design. I thank all the kids that went off to fight, to those men who came back I say thank you and you have my gratitude forever. To the families of those brave men that didn’t get a hug I applaud you more USMC 65-68 Viet Nam was the place we were because they sent us although rudely treated at home. Great moment just putting my hand on the names i knew on the wall. For all that were there and the conflicts after, you are all the best. to all the vets for their service and sacrifices. Glad we are honoring these brave souls. Your sacrifices are immeasurable and there are no words that could ever repay the citizens of the United States and other countries gratitude.
A lot of you are saying your not responsible. Yet your ancestors own slaves. Your ancestors started business off slavery. Which has been passed down to you. Better living environment. Better health care. Better education. System design for you to prosper. Wait, Democrats don’t believe DACA children should have to pay for their parents actions yet white people are to be held responsible for the actions of slave owners from 17th & 18th century! What a joke of a card for Democratic politicians to play. Anything to try to hold onto as much minority vote as possible. The level of nervousness makes sense since you take their votes year after year & do nothing in return to truly help them or their community.
