Real consequences for stupid decisions that are clear and understandable. Not this dumb bullshit. Besides, ballistas should’ve never been able to reliably hit a fast flying dragon, let alone 3 times. They’re not radar guided. This makes it impossible to suspend my disbelief. Why didn’t Cercei simply kill them all? She could’ve gotten them all, dragon, queen, soldiers. What would have been the downside? Nothing. She would’ve won the war. Game of thrones my mommy’s a nerd and why winter is coming shirt Shit writing is what it is. they may not have the source material to work with, sure they have to come up with their own content, that doesn’t mean it has to be crap. The general feel this season that they are trying to get rid of their CGI budget as fast as possible.
Ep4 was 35-40 minutes of crappy fan service and mostly trash dialogue. I understand they want Daenerys to lose her mind, but they wrote her basically to look like a bitchy teenager, which completely ruins her character. They could have written her descent you know…. good. And the forced conflict between Sansa and Daenerys, it is basically arbitrary conflict at this point purely as a plot device. i know! They don’t kill main characters, they complain. They kill a dragon, they complain. Really??? I didn’t want to see important characters die at the hand of some emotionless wight !!!!!!! Who doesn’t care about anything gave them all the material. He hasn’t released it yet because some sort of weird agenda he’s got going on. But he has two more books written and gave the show everything they needed. Literally not Martin’s fault.
