It was the way Arya said it. The tone was wrong. I see what they were trying to do, but it missed the mark with a lot of people. But then I saw the post show video of creators in which they discuss the episode, and their they explain what actually happened.. That is TOTALLY Nymeria, I checked photos from season 1. We did saw Nymeria it’s great. But she really doesn’t has to go with her. I hope the fans will get it cuz Nymeria is a wolf and wolf’s home is their territory with their clan members and family. Even if she goes with her in the real life logic the wolf will going to be un compliance to me GOT is one of the closest fantastic film to the real life logic. Example: everyone can die in various of ways in middleage. People’s way of living and the society were kinda just like the the film at that time For those asking if the dire wolf was Nymeria, Arya Stark’s wolf. Yes that was Nymeria. At the end of the episode on HBO they explain that Nymeria is now the alpha in her own pack. In the first season there’s a scene where Ned tells Arya about how she will be a lady with all it entitles and Arya replies “that’s not me”. This is why Arya says “that’s not you” to Nymeria after seeing her and offering to go back home and Nymeria, although she recognized her, leaves with her pack. That’s not her anymore. And Arya understands perfectly.
