The nymeria scene may send arya back South. Her saying that’s not you, was just as much for herself as nymeria. I don’t think she will be headed north anymore come Sunday. Also if this show has taught us anything it’s face value means nothing. Theon will be redeemed, somehow he will save the day. They’re trying too hard to make him a scumbag he has to do something in order to surprise us all. The writers made a grand show of showing Arya decide to head North. This is the first shred of hope she has at returning home, being with family again and she was so close to Jon. I don’t think she’ll give up bring reunited with her family just to head to KL.
That’s my whole point. They made a big deal about her heading south. Even after she heard Jon was king, she still struggled with the decision not to go. She says that’s not you, in reference to her conversation with her father and him telling her she was going to be a lady. So the direwolf being domesticated and going home, is NOT who the wolf is. Same for her. Arya is the wolf. It’s just too perfect. I don’t think she goes back rn. They’ve been missing each other throughout the whole series, them reuniting now would be very anticlimactic. It needs to happen during a bigger moment.
