Bullying for some can lead to depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts and make their life hell My son does not need a “cure ” because he learns in different ways. My son is not something to be fixed, he is not a disease, he is not broken. Bullies will find any excuse to bully, how about fixing the real problem? So should gay people not be gay just because they get bullied for it? And? So what if bullies will always exist? That doesn’t mean we stop trying to teach kids right from wrong. You dont stop bullying by teaching kids to not be themselves so they dont get bullied, you stop it by teaching kids not to bully. Or you teach your kid to stand up for themselves. The teacher can try to discipline my kid for standing up for himself all they want, I’ll be there to support him that’s what I’m there for. there are adults full of hate who like to bully other adults for things. Does that mean I’m going to change who I am to avoid it? No. And If I teach my child to change who they are to avoid bullies, I am setting him up to fail as an adult in the future.
